Are fabric duct, textile duct and air sock the same thing?+
Fabric duct and textile duct are common names for a textile-based duct that distributes conditioned air within a space. Fabric air duct and textile air duct refer to the same product family. An air sock describes the flexible form of the duct; the fabric and outlet arrangement are selected for the project.
Where can fabric air ducts be used?+
Fabric air ducts can be assessed for food and dairy facilities, production areas, warehouses, sports halls and swimming pools. Suitability depends on the equipment’s airflow and available pressure as well as room conditions. Textile ducts are selected for the intended operating zones rather than as a one-size-fits-all product.
What is ATOL Air’s role in Türkiye?+
ATOL Air is the Official Exclusive Distributor of ATOL in Türkiye. We coordinate product selection, technical communication, quotations and orders with the Polish manufacturer. The final ATOL fabric duct scope is defined in the technical drawings and quotation.
How are fabric duct systems designed?+
Fabric duct systems are designed around airflow, available static pressure, supply-air temperature, room dimensions and mounting height. For a textile duct system, duct shape, permeability, perforations or nozzles and suspension are selected together.
Are antibacterial fabrics standard on every system?+
A hygiene plan includes suitable fabric, removal, washing, drying and maintenance. ATOL offers antibacterial fabric options on request; this finish is not standard on every material. For hygienic textile air duct systems, we confirm the selected fabric, relevant documentation and cleaning requirements at quotation stage.
How are fabric ducts cleaned and maintained?+
With suitable suspension and connections, fabric ducts can be removed and cleaned according to the manufacturer’s instructions for the selected material. Washing temperature, drying and maintenance intervals depend on the fabric, soiling and operating conditions. Air filtration and equipment servicing are also part of the overall maintenance plan.
What do fabric ductwork and fabric ducting mean?+
Fabric ductwork describes a network of textile ducts and its associated system details. Fabric ducting and fabric air ducting refer to this textile-based approach to air distribution. When discussing a complete solution, the terms fabric air duct systems and fabric ducting systems are also used.
What determines price and delivery time?+
For fabric or textile air ducts, the quotation considers dimensions, fabric, air outlets, suspension scope and the production schedule. Project-specific pricing and delivery terms are stated in the written quotation. If your design data is incomplete, we can start with the drawings and information already available.
